About ToolzyLab
ToolzyLab is an independent site of free tools for images, PDFs, text, code and everyday calculations. Most of them run in your browser, so your files stay on your device.
Who ToolzyLab is for
ToolzyLab is for people who need one job done now and don't want to install software or create an account for it. Typical tasks:
- Turning an iPhone HEIC photo into a JPG an upload form will accept
- Getting a PDF under an email attachment limit, or merging scans into one file
- Formatting JSON from an API response or decoding a JWT while debugging
- Working out a percentage change, a loan payment or the days between two dates
What makes it different
- Processing in your browser. Image, PDF, developer and most text tools run on your device, using code served from toolzylab.com. Each page says where processing happens, and the privacy policy lists the six features that use a server.
- Limits stated up front. If a tool struggles with very large files, scanned PDFs or a particular browser, the page says so before you start.
- Explanations next to the tool. Pages explain the format, formula or setting behind the result, so you can check the answer yourself. The loan calculator shows the amortization formula, and the BMI calculator names the CDC categories it uses.
What's on the site
More than 90 single-purpose tools in six groups: image, PDF, text, developer, utility (calculators and converters) and a few fun tools such as a dice roller and a joke generator. Guides on the blog cover the jobs around them, like choosing an image format or preparing a PDF for an online form. Start from all tools.
Who runs ToolzyLab
ToolzyLab is run independently by a small team with a background in web development and writing. It isn't owned by a larger publisher. The editorial policy explains how pages are tested, checked and corrected, including where AI helps with drafts.
How ToolzyLab is paid for
Every tool is free to use. There are no paywalls, premium tiers, sign-ups or download limits tied to payment. ToolzyLab pays its own hosting and the OpenAI costs of the AI features.
In the future the site plans to show ads through Google AdSense to cover those costs. Ads will be labeled, kept away from tool controls and download buttons, and won't use advertising cookies unless you allow them. They won't change what tools we build or what guides say.
