This tool only works for PDFs you’re allowed to access and where the correct password is known. It tries a true PDF unlock first, then falls back to clean page rebuilding for tough files, so some advanced interactive features may still be flattened on fallback exports.
Use Auto for the best balance. If a file refuses to export, use Re-enter Password and then try Render Pages for maximum compatibility.
Unlocking a PDF is appropriate when you own the file or have permission to remove its password. Enter the current credential, choose the supported unlock method, page range, render scale, quality, background, and preview count, then test the downloaded copy without a password and inspect whether text, forms, links, signatures, or other features survived.
