To create a quiz, type a question, fill in options A to D, choose the Correct option and select Save question. Repeat for each question, then select Play quiz to take it. At the end you get a percentage score, a pass or retry verdict and a review showing the right answer to every question.
How to create a quiz
- Name it. Fill in Quiz title, Category and an optional Description. Or load a ready-made quiz (General knowledge, Science challenge or Movies and pop) and edit it.
- Add questions. Write the question, fill all four options, pick the right one under Correct option, and add an explanation if you like. Select Save question.
- Set the rules. Open Quiz settings to choose Default points, a timer in seconds (0 means no timer), a Pass score % (60 by default), shuffling and instant feedback.
- Play and review. Select Play quiz, pick an answer and press Next question or Enter. The results screen shows your score and every answer.
- Keep a copy. Select Export JSON to download the quiz so you can import it again later or on another device.
What this online quiz maker can do
Every question is multiple choice with exactly four options, A to D, and one correct answer. All four options must be filled in and different from each other, so true or false and open-answer questions aren't supported. Each question can be worth 1 to 50 points, and the score is the share of points earned, so a 5-point question counts five times as much as a 1-point one.

If you shuffle answers, avoid options like "All of the above", since they'll move to a different letter. Shuffling uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues(), so every order is equally likely.
Quiz maker for teachers: what to know
It works well for a class quiz on a projector or a quick self-check. There are no student accounts, share links or gradebook, though, and scores stay on the device that took the quiz.
- Run it live. Turn on Instant feedback in Quiz settings and have the class call out answers before you click.
- Send it to students. Export the quiz as a .json file and share it. Each student opens this page, selects Choose file, then Import quiz, and plays it on their own device.
- Collect results. Students can select Copy results and paste their score, correct and wrong counts and finish time into a message to you.
For picking who answers next, use the random name picker. For timing a speed round, keep an online stopwatch open.
Where your quiz is saved
Your quiz saves automatically in this browser's local storage, along with your last score. The page holds one quiz at a time, so loading a template or importing a file replaces it, and clearing your browser data deletes it. To keep several quizzes, select Export JSON for each one and import the file when you need it.

Yes. It's free with no sign-up and no limit on the number of questions. Everything runs in your browser.
Can I add a timer to my quiz?
Yes. Open Quiz settings and enter the number of seconds in the timer field, up to 3,600. The timer covers the whole quiz, not each question, and the quiz is scored automatically when time runs out.
Can I share my quiz with a link?
No, there are no share links. Select Export JSON and send the file instead. The other person imports it with Choose file and Import quiz.
Is this a printable quiz maker?
Not yet. The quiz is built to be played on screen. You can keep a copy of the questions and answers with Export JSON or Copy JSON.
Can I make true or false questions?
No. Every question needs four different options. You can write a two-way question with four choices, such as True, False, Partly true and Not enough information.
What happens if I finish early?
Select Finish now to end it and see your results. Every answer you picked counts, including one on the current question that you hadn't confirmed with Next question. Questions with no answer picked score 0 and show as Not answered in the review.
How is the score calculated?
Your points earned are divided by the total points available and shown as a percentage. If it meets the pass score, the verdict is Passed. Otherwise it says Retry.
